Welcome to Plain Dealing High School

At Plain Dealing, we offer a rigorous curriculum designed to prepare every student for college and the work force.  We emphasize 21st century skills such as collaboration, oral and written communication, work ethic, and technology usage.  These learning outcomes are achieved through a strong curriculum giving our students the opportunity to sign up for classes that will interest and challenge them.

Since we are a community school, we pride ourselves in knowing all students personally.  Our school is a family where everyone is treated fairly and with respect.  This important aspect of our culture is reflected by an open-door policy and a strong bond with our community.

Finally, we would not be Plain Dealing without our athletics, always well supported by our community.  Our football program is exciting, and we are hoping to make the play-offs again this year.  Basketball is probably our flagship with numerous Top 28 appearances and our girls' back-to-back state championships.  Our baseball and softball programs are starting to develop, and we have won our share our medals at the track state championship.

We strive to offer our students the opportunity to flourish in a positive environment and are looking forward to work with all members of our community.  Come see us!
