📔 BIS Handbook Update – Water Bottles 💧

We would like to thank the parents who helped us provide some clarification to our handbook update posted below.

As we prepare for another great school year, we wanted to share a small update to our handbook. At the request of our teachers, only plastic bottles with screw-on tops or fully sealed, leak-proof lids will be allowed on campus this year. Over time, metal water bottles have caused frequent disruptions when accidentally dropped on our tile floor creating loud, startling noises that interrupt learning. Our goal is always to support our teachers as they work hard to create the best possible environment for our students.

💧 Please note that students will still have full access to water fountains and refill stations throughout the building.

*Please note: They do make silicone/plastic cups with a stainless steel lining that would still accomplish the goal of reducing the noise.
