Our PLTW engineering students just completed an incredible Rube Goldberg machine using simple machines and complex mechanisms, and the results are mind-blowing! 🤯 The idea behind a Rube Goldberg machine is to make a simple task complicated. From pulleys and levers to gears and ramps, they turned everyday items into a chain reaction masterpiece that allowed them to close a door and throw away a piece of trash. 🛠️⚙️

Our Pre-Educator class is diving deep into social cognitive theory for their Dual Enrollment Educational Psychology course! They're learning how our interactions, experiences, and even media can shape our learning. To bring this theory to life, students worked in groups to role-play different classroom scenarios. They explored how interactions and the classroom environment can impact a student's self-efficacy and self-regulation.
A former Pre-Educator student, now college student, Ariah Williams was present in class to observe the lesson as part of her college coursework. She answered questions of students, describing what it is like to be an education major!

IMPORTANT ! Students driving MUST have a parking pass to drive to BPSTIL. Starting on Friday, students without a pass cannot drive on campus and must ride the bus from their home school.
