When you arrive, parents and students should begin in the main gym. There, you will be able to receive student schedules, pay school fees, pick up spirit wear, and receive available uniforms and school supplies.

FREE Inaugural Low Key Ronnie Coker Football Camp
We are excited to share the Inaugural Low Key Ronnie Coker Football Camp. This free camp is open to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade and is limited to the first 175 registered participants. The camp is designed to give young athletes of all backgrounds the opportunity to learn football fundamentals, build confidence, stay active, and connect with positive role models. Participants will enjoy a positive and encouraging environment while developing skills that can help them both on and off the field.
Through this event, we are honored to celebrate the legacy of Ronnie Coker by creating meaningful opportunities for local youth and strengthening connections throughout our community.

Plain Dealing High School will host Meet the Teacher Night on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:30–6:30 PM. This is a great opportunity for students and families to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and get ready for the first day of school. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Plain Dealing High School summer school classes will resume tomorrow, June 25, at 7:30 AM. We will also resume summer school testing. It is very important that any student scheduled for LEAP testing or K–3 Literacy testing is present and on time. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing our students tomorrow!
Due to the recent weather and current electricity outage, Plain Dealing High School will not have summer school on Wednesday, June 24. Summer school testing will resume on Thursday, June 25. Everyone, please stay safe, and thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

The handbook includes important information regarding school expectations, policies, procedures, dress code, attendance, and other important guidelines for the upcoming school year. Plain Dealing High School families, as we prepare for an exciting 2026–2027 school year, please take a moment to review the school supply lists and student fee information. All students in grades K–12 are required to pay a $10 technology fee, and students in grades K–8 will also have a $10 student activity fee. Students in grades 6–12 who are enrolled in PE are required to pay a $15 PE uniform fee. Additional fees may apply for certain elective classes. High school students will receive their supply lists and any required class fees on the first day of class. We appreciate your support and look forward to a great year together at Plain Dealing High School!

If you will be picking up meals today as part of the curbside summer feeding program, please be aware the delivery trucks are running late and pickups will be delayed until approximately 8 a.m. This affects all sites, with the exception of Parkway, which will open at the normal time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
