PDHS parents, Please check your student's folder today for their Literacy Screening results. This assessment measures students' grasp of phonics and fundamental reading skills. These reports contain important information about your child's performance on the Literacy Screener as well as helpful tips and activities you can do at home to help improve their reading skills. We are so proud of their hard work and look forward to seeing how much they learn and grow this year! Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions about the report or your child's results.

Bossier Schools has revised its cell phone policy in response to a new state law that restricts students from using cell phones and other electronic devices during the instructional day. Please note the following revisions: Cell phones must be turned off and stowed during instructional time, including from the time students get on/off the bus or in/out of a personal vehicle while on campus; Electronic communication devices, including but not limited to personal computers, laptops, electronic instruments, iPads, iPods, tablet devices, e-readers or similar devices, must be powered off and properly stowed for the duration of the school day. Each violation will result in the collection of the cell phone/electronic device.
