The Bossier Chamber of Commerce will be holding their annual 'Pack the Bus' school supply drive benefiting Bossier Schools. We hope you'll help out with this year's event! Come by the Wal-Mart Supercenter Thursday, August 1 from 11:30 to 1:30 and drop off much needed supplies to help our teachers fill the gaps in their classrooms.

Plain Dealing High School is pleased to announce Coach Shelly Malone as the new head softball coach. She previously served as an assistant coach at PDHS and now brings her expertise to the role of head coach. Coach Malone exemplifies the values of Lion Pride and is enthusiastic about guiding the team towards achieving their goals. Her experience and dedication will undoubtedly contribute to the success of the softball program at Plain Dealing High School. With Coach Malone at the helm, the softball team can look forward to a bright future filled with growth, teamwork, and accomplishments. PDHS is thrilled to announce that Eddie Hamilton will take on the Head Boys Basketball Coach role. This opportunity holds special significance for Coach Hamilton as he looks to honor his mentor and friend, Coach David Bryant.
Our program under Coach Hamilton's leadership will prioritize values such as trust, respect, and unity to foster a cohesive team environment. He is deeply committed to carrying forward Coach Bryant's legacy with the utmost respect for his family members.

🦸♀️Fuel your summer superhero with free, nutritious meals that Bossier Schools will be offering weekly starting June 11 at four drive-through sites. 🦸♂️
Any child 18 years of age and younger is eligible. Each box will contain seven shelf-stable breakfasts and lunches.
Parents or guardians will need to complete a registration form for each child. Simply scan the QR code on the graphic or visit http://bit.ly/4bIbKjf to register.
Once registration is complete, meal boxes can be picked up between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. every Tuesday until July 30 at either Benton Middle, Haughton Middle, W.T. Lewis Elementary or Parkway High School.

Being chosen as cheerleader of the week or biweek is quite an honor. She is selected by her fellow cheerleaders and sponsors for outstanding effort, teamwork, and going above and beyond. Our tiny cheerleader, Lily, goes home with the cheerleader of the week or two weeks. Congrats to our first 2 cheerleaders of the week, Zakira Lewis & Adrielle Manning.
